And I had a younger sister who was a baby and he had threatened her, and so it just I would. I became a very closed off, quiet, as most writers are very introverted and quiet. Anyway, I was the middle of three girls, so I was, of course, the middle child, right, but when it happened I was really afraid to say anything. And then, eventually, the sheriffs came around. They sent a female sheriff to talk with his, his victims, of which I was one of three. I'd be wandering around checking doors at night, and you know my dad has always been very good about locking doors, so it just didn't make a lot of sense. But they didn't put anything together until it all came out. And then I did testify in a civil trial as well as a military trial, and, um, he was um court-martialed and lost his pension. Um, and his family blamed me for that. So I had to end up going to school with his five kids, and, and, and, and, and.
